State Softball All-Stars Headed To Jones County

The best of the best young female athletes will be headed to Jones County to compete in the Mississippi's All-Stars. The All-Stars will take place on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31, 2024.

The All-Star games will be held at Jones College on both days. There will also be a ceremony during the week of the All-Stars officially naming the young athletes as all-stars. Approximately 7% of high school players get a chance to play college sports. Less than 1% of high school athletes are named an all-star.

Being named an All-Star is the highest achievement a student athlete can achieve. The All-Stars plays a significant role to the local economy as 1'000's travel from all over the state to watch their kids play in the state all-star games.

What the kids eat, where the kids stay, what the kids do, and who sponsors all of it comes from the local community. Being a part of the state all-stars is not only great recognition for a business but it's also a great opportunity for businesses to give back and get involved within the local community.
